Hey BloodyHand, when you say the ice is gone does that mean the entire bay is open and boatable? Complete ice out? Just trying to clarify that statement for the upcoming week.

I've posted this before but in case you missed it, it's the web cam on top of the Bicentennial Tower.

I take the bayfront twice a day and still enjoy checking it out once in a while (daydreaming of being out there when I'm stuck at work.)

That being said, there is no ice to be seen on the bay. Chestnut st. ramp is free of ice.
Can't say much for P.I. side as I haven't been over there in a couple weeks but have to assume that it looks the same.

No ice anywhere but the dying shad are so thick they look like ice . Had a boat out on Marina Lake friday brrrr cold not much action yet water temp is 34 degrees . It is difficult to launch without the docks and the water level of the greatlakes being low . A nice day if you stayed clear of the 25 MPH wind that was supposed to be 10MPH

Thanks for the update. Cold and wind don't agree with me anymore especially on the water, and without docks it's even more challenging.
