First dam on the beaver river?

The first dam on the beaver river, the one you see from the big bridge, can you fish it? if you  can how do u get down to it? it looks accessable if you park at 1 of the the plant buildings and walk through the strips of fields between buildings, any information is appreciated, it looks like it would be good fishing

A long time ago you could walk through the plant. As far as I know they stopped that along time ago.But you can drive right to it on the New brighton side. After crossing the bridge from fallston side over to newbrighton side. Make left (upriver), before you get to the light make a left (before the subway). At first stop sign make a left into the underpass of the traintracks. You are there.   Sometimes its good, sometimes it's not. Just like everywhere else.  Allot of crackhead/inbred/lowlife jagoffs around there. Haven't been back for a couple years

Yeah the walleye's  are down from the dam a bit, there is a sandy looking shoreline. Come spring you will have to get there like a hour before light just to find a place to fish. Since they made it like a park up near the dam it's WAY crowded,Ant steelie is not kidding about the CRACKHEADS and such. If you plan night time fishing there you better have a weapon and I am not joking. Last year a guy or 2 got heldup by the well you what I mean!!!
