Guy at work took a drive up sunday. Said there was a few out on misery and horeshoe.

Fished misery this am. 3.5 inches white ice. we didn't go out as far as others.but nobody went through to go through,some people were quitea way out!!! P.S> caught some more nice gills!!!!

I could see about 20 huts from State St. today. I might give it a go tomorrow...

Was on misery saturday and sunday (2/9/13 and 2/10/13) with lots of other people. Ice was good - about 4-5 inches and easy dragging since it had the snow blown off. Lot's of shad and emeralds but hard to find the panfish. With patiance I managed in the 30's both days of keeper gills (none under 7 in.). Without my camera I really doubt my numbers would have been that good. Lots of people moving around - lots of people with nothing on the ice. Did the best at the north end of misery in 4-6 ft. Started both days very late in the morning and don't believe I missed anything.

Do you think the ice held up with monday's weather? Kids don't have school friday and was thinking of making the trip with them.

Checked misery today, has 3-5 inches of black ice. Very slick

Yes we fished for a little while only kept 15 gills. One other group out in closer to shore that did better.

Just back from P.I. most of the bay is unsafe to ice fish.Open water along park side most of the way to misery.Checked misery,open water along edge nobody out this am didnt feel safe .Went to horseshoe plenty of ice 8" to 4". Caught one tiny crappie in two hours, moved several times.Looked with camera in all holes saw nothing but shad!!!!!!!!!!!

I too hit Misery this morning disappointed to see the ice, went to Lake Pleasent marginal ice 3-4 inches, fished out in deeper water moved a number of time between 18 and 28 fow didn't catch anything going to try again late this afternoon
