Lake Arthur Ice??

Does anyone know how much ice is on Lake Arthur now?

    Muddy Creek had 4" of good ice.  But the phrase Dead Sea was true to its name Sunday.

    Has anyone fished it at night? Do you usually do well? I am new to fishing this lake but I now live very close so I want to give it a try. Any info would be appreciated and I will be sure to pass along reports in the future. Thanks!

    I have done very well at night in the past if u can find some structure that holds crappies you should have no trouble getting them after dark never did real well with tips ups after dark though

    i fished mt.zion at dark a couple weeks ago and it was a very slow night only 2 crappies

    A buddy and I fished MC area yesterday...Slooooow! fished from about 9-9 only ended up with about a dozen fish between us -11 gills and 1 crappie. Might be because I don't know that area very well and didn't know the good spots, but I didn't see anyone doing very well.
    Hopefully the fishing picks up for the weekend, I'm planning on hitting it again with both my little boys and my dad.

    The good news is that the ice is a very solid 6.5-7 inches, (makes it a lot of work with a hand auger )so it should hold up to a moderate warm up.

    Bhines, I drove past Arthur today on 422. There were a handful of guys out on one of the coves that you can see on 422 b/w the 528 and South Shore exit. I personally have absolutely no idea how thick it was or if it'll hold up, but there were some people on it today (Thursday)
