Well we found out that the fish ladders weren't adequate to allow the fish to get up. What I do know is the redfish and red snapper have been caught in the stink hole and off the second trench

I've been really productive on 12/0 trebbles and a dipsy diver. I love catching my limit of marlin, put em on the yellow, having a glass of "Molson"

I heard they were going to alleviate the pressure on Erie by stocking Marlin in the 3 rivers...  Any truth to that??

Caught him in the Manchester Hole in 09'.  They're out there!

Dumbest solution to the steelhead "problem" I've ever seen on here. Go to the DSR if you like their method and it works so well. Thats privately owned water, not owned by the state. Get a grip duUd.

Build it and they will come.
When they come, charge them and they will go away.
When they are gone, tear it down, because there is no longer money to maintain it.

Warmer years, more walleye, walleye and other game fish eat smoky. If you know where to fish and how to catch them you will catch enough. Nothing needs changed except more creek monitoring possibly, other then that guys will always find something to complain about. Try dishing somewhere else for them you will see how great you have it

Good concept, but no way to enforce it.  While I don't get up to Erie much anymore (stuck in fishing 'no man's land' in Harrisburg area), my sense is that the problem isn't as much over crowding as it is easements and fisheries management.  Sure, you'll be 'combat angling' in crowded areas on Walnut, Elk, 20 Mile, and even 16 Mile during the 'Fall Run', but there are also ample opportunities to fish away from high traffic areas that hold fish based on water conditions/time of day.  I for one would be willing to pay more for a Lake Erie/Tribs stamp . . . say $50, if I could see a tangible benefit of that in access and habitat improvement (something more than a 'fish ladder' to make nice water like 4MI a viable option for stocking).
