Yough - Smithton, W. Newton

Anybody know when the respective clubs will announce the stocking schedules ?   Gotta send for my donation button.  Last year Ma Nature wasn't very kind, making the Yough unfishable most of the early spring.

    Last year's first stocking was march 17.  Nothing has been posted yet for this year.

    Gettin close... buy your buttons if ya fish there.  It helps, and with the state cutting back drastically on the stocking this year, we need all the private clubs we can get.

    I'm really not a fan of stocked trout
    do any of the clubs stock other species?

    1st stocking march 16  9:00am at the ballfield   check web site posted above  for complete listing  " Smithton"

    W. Newton use to stock catfish years ago. 


    there was an article in the trib in sunday's paper that said that one of the two clubs (W.N. or Smithton) stocked catfish in recent years as well.
