Yough at Connellsville

Tried to fish an area along the Yough yesterday but was pushed out by a beautiful large yellow dog. I had only begun to fish, maybe 15 minutes when this large, friendly, yellow dog came up beside me and started to pick up sticks and run and play with them. She then proceeded to romp around in the water in front of me picking up stones out of the water and carrying them over to me. Nice friendly dog that wanted to play, but I wanted to fish so I moved about fifty yards only to be followed by the dog. She would stand in front or beside me and bark for me to throw something. Everytime I moved she followed. Must have come from one of the houses in the area and was used to fishermen playing with her. I was afraid she might try and grab the lure I was using so I quit fishing and left.

Went back to the same spot and fished about 45 min. in that wind and caught one 17 inch walleye. Was actually hoping to see that dog again today.
