Thanks guys, and yes your right charlie, hes had quite a few hours at the vise to date... hes really taken a passion to the sport itself. I built him a 9' #6 rpl sage for christmas. It'll be a great all around rod for him. He can do trout, bass, steel, and heck i, ve even done salmon on those old 690's...lol... too bad i missed the fly swap although i am quite busy.... would like to definitely catch up with some of you guys this winter in to spring on the river.. tight lines...

I hear you HT I am still trying to finish ours started in 2003.  I had to take a break from  my  closet/drywall  project as we needed the room for the holidays but it is almost  done just have to finish the inside of the closet and then off to paint, floor.  I go with spurts on the house few months on and a few off.    Sad thing is I am thinking I will need a new roof in 4 to 5 years.  Shoveling and winter is tough on it.

Tuna, the day will come im sure of it... and i feel extra sorry for whatever species it is we target nice work on the kitchen. I just recently ripped out my bathroom to find ithas been cob jobbed about 10 times in the past 100 years...lol... turns out the floor was 3 inches out in one corner from a structural main that had lowered while some idiots tried to start something they couldnt finish maybe 60 years ago or so... long story short my easy bathroom reface turned in to a structural lifting project... in the end though it will be original pine plank floors and old plank boards for one wall. All log beams and posts will remain exposed and only drywalled between beams to leave a rustic reveal... as much of a pain in the neck it is, the end result should be nice...
