Niti-1 imformation?
Hello all I did a search for the allegheny sport travel and outdoor show. Saw a picture showing Pcolas lures. The banner made reference to a Niti-1 lure, dubbed the trout killer. I couldn't find any good pictures of the lure nor could i find a web site for Pcolas lures. Has anyone ever used one? Does anyone have a picture or site containing a picture? Basically ANY info at all? Thanks in advance for your help. Tight Lines Trout Man

X 2. Nice article on a local lure. Saw the original owner showing the Niti many years ago at the Monroeville show.

I picked a few of these up years ago at the monroeville show, it was one of my favorite trout lures. Even used the big ones in erie a few times trolling with some success.

I have one. Found it in a tree. Hooks all rusted off, but the lure was in good condition. Still have it somewhere.

Caught a ton of trout on this thing and 1 steelhead. If it works it works.

The first time I ever came across them was years ago at the Cambria county fair. Their was a booth set up in one of the buildings. A fellow (I believe he was the desighner of the lure and owner of the business) was pulling one of those lures through a tank of water. It looked very life like. Almost like a minnow darting through the water. Don't recall if I purchased any at that particular point in time, but have done so on a few occasions since. Still have a couple. They work. Belive the fellow that started the business has since passed on.
How did the person who invented the first clock know what time it was?

The Niti has an excellent action which is very easy to initiate and maintain. It's also a very productive lure, locally made and not terribly expensive. What could be better?

It is reminiscent of a Hus lure as Accountant had stated.

DO NOT use a swivel w/ the Niti lure. Defeats the intended action of the lure.

Youghman Could you explain the no swivel thing. Not sure how a swivel would interfear with the action of the lure. I noticed there is an o ring at the front of the lure. If you removed the o ring and used a swivel directly to the lure it shouldn't change the action of the lure right? In any case, thanks. Tight Lines Trout Man

trout man--When I first purchased the Niti at the Monroville show, many years ago, I was told by the fellow demonstrating them at the tank, not to attach or use a swivel w/ the lure. I never did and have caught many trout on the Yough using the Niti. If you put a swivel on the Niti, with or without the O-ring, it changes the action of the lure and that defeats its purpose.

Great Product! I have been using pcola lures since the first time I saw them at the outdoor show. I dedicate one box of spinners specifically for these lures!

Awesome lure for stocked trout. I consistently out fish live bait fishermen with with the gold one. I have not had too much success with the other colors, ( silver & black). As it was previously stated do not use a swivel.

I have not had much success with this lure but have been on the water when others did. It goes the same with the trout magnet. I love those things and my buddy never catches S&$t on them.

I've done real good using them. I usually pick up a few more each year at the outdoor show.
