digital waterproof camera deal

I've noticed a few people on here are looking at waterproof cameras. Here is a really good deal on them. The name of this site is Groupon. I've bought a few things from this site over the last two years and it is a trustworthy site. You should subscribe to it. They send you new deals every day. I see lots of great deals that I wish I could take advantage of, but just don't have the money. Anyway, I figured I'd share this one with you guys. This is a really awesome camera and the price that they are offering it for is very low. Check it out.

    That's a sweet camera, I've also bought a few things off of groupon recently, within the last 3 months or so. Some good experiences some bad (ran out of product and had to be refunded). However I don't have an extra 189 laying around either. But it's always nice to look!

    I own this exact camera.  Fantastic rugged, good looking camera that takes great shots, and a great deal on it.  The carabiner is handy for hanging it off my chest pack--easy access for quick shots!

    The camera I have is an Nikon AW100. I have beat the crap out of it and it works great. Thats the one I would recommend but its more than the deal on the camera in this thread.

    I must have got a bad one because I'm not too happy with mine. I returned it and got a replacement to give it another chance - no luck. My Olympus Stylus takes way better shots that this Pentax. Glad your happy with yours Drew. Must just be the one I got - or maybe the guy behind the lens. :)

    I'm surprised to hear about your bad experience, steely.  
     
    I have an older Pentax rugged as my 'fishing camera', a WS80, and while it's certainly surpassed in quality by more current models, it's always done fairly well and met my expectations.  Compared to shots from the Olympus models of a few friends, I'm of the opinion that Olympus takes a better picture underwater, but Pentax has the edge out of the water, given similar specs.

    Cold, no I don't have one. I have an Olympus Stylus Tough camera and I love it. It was a bit cheaper than this Pentax. I just got this offer in the mail and thought I'd share it with my Fish USA friends. It sure looked like a good camera to me. I researched it a bit and it earned very good reviews. It's too bad Steely had a bad experience with it.
