I stopped at some mile streams on my way back from the Catt saturday and there were some fish down low that looked pretty fresh. That was before the rain so I'd bet more came in, or at least those fish moved up.

I fished a westside stream Sunday. There were enough fresh fish around to make it fun!

The reason I responded on this thread is that when I fished on Sunday, the 9th, I definately hooked more fresh chrome steelies compared to darker/colored ones. I think also because of the relatively mild weather and warmer water they put up great energetic fights. I'll take that any day over a steelhead that hardly fights at all. That's what it's all about!
