Turkeys and Yotes don't mix !
After Pa. archery went out (no buck for me) I should have been hitting Ohio archery but was a little burnt out plus had quite a few things to do.So after getting the stuff done Thursday morning hit the turkey woods,I sit down in the dark and wait for daylight, just like always the turks start their morning talk, then they fly down a nice mixed flock of adult hens, jennies and jakes 35-40 at least. Just fast as they flew down they flew up. I new something was wrong and the fly down fly up game went on till 10 am,after the 4 time I moved about 40 yards to my right to better a better view of this strange event, well there where two yotes doing what yotes do best kill for the thrill. They each had a turkey in their mouth but would put it down and rush in and kill another turkey when they would fly down,I watched them kill three more. They are truely killing machines, they bust with speed and close fast, young turks don't have a chance.
