Trout Run Leaves --lots of 'em. think leaf beach

I stopped down at Trout Run today before work. When I pulled up I though that maybe the Fish Comm or someone was dumping dirt to replace the beach after the storm. But it wasn't dirt. Every leaf in Lake Erie found its way to the shore by Trout Run. The pile goes out about 15-20 feet from shore and sets about 5 feet above the water.
 

 

 

 
I have no idea who that guy is. He was putting sticks in the ground every so many yards.

    Craig, any ideas on what exactly is going on here? Are people still able to fish the mouth? Spoke to a buddy who lives along one of the tribs...said its looking like its going to be a tough year

    He's sectioning off the beach, by class.
    Knuckle dragging, spoon tossing, PB soaking spin guys.
    Able to walk upright, egg dipping Pinners.
    Fully evolved flea flickers. And
    Super human, semi deity two handed spey cast & swingers.
     
    Access to specific sections, by class is rotated counter clockwise at the top of each even numbered hour.

    I went back down today and most of the leaves are gone. Guys were wading out to fish.  The mouth is fishable. Trout Run now goes straight out into the lake.

    Billy, you're a funny guy. Just out of curiosity, how long is this lunch break?

    If I had ego issues I would have posted numbers. You my friend are the one on here posting exaggerated numbers to pad your ego. I was just trying to share a good trip and expressing my excitement for my girlfriend catching her first steelhead. Also to let everyone planning a trip know there are plenty of fish to be caught.

    I got into a fight at the Avonia like 6 years ago.....I'm still banned...lol....sucks..cause the food is good. Heck, I dont even wanna drink there, just eat...but they wont let me :(
