Suits

Hey guys.  This winter I am probably going to start ice fishing Presque Isle.  I want to purchase bibs and a jacket.  What's your preferred brand (Frabill, Clam, etc.) and how has it performed?  Also, where did you purchase yours?

Will I like the way I look?  Do you guarantee it?

Invest in a shanty and a heater instead.  I usually end up taking my coat off. Sometimes I even get down to a tee shirt.

I love my I.D.I. Arctic Armor as well, but they've had some quality/customer service issues the last couple of years.  The Striker Lite suits are very nice and their c.s. is reportedly top notch.

My wife bought me the frabill suit last year for christmas, and I love it. It isn't the ice suit, it is the one you can layer underneath to what you prefer, which is what I like. She said their service was top notch, and I am definitely happy with performance and durability so far. Didn't get to use it ice fishing last year, but used it on the boat in spring, and using it to fish from shore this fall. It has kept me nice and toasty, and the wind doesn't bother me.

I also have the Frabill Suit and I couldn't be happier with it! Got it from Fish USA toward the end of last season at a really good price. I love how I can layer with it to be warm enough but not too warm.
