Hi Fly Giude. If you are going to make lagre musky/pike articulated flys, You might want to check out Flyman Fishing co. They have shanks for tying articulated flys. They come in 3 sizes. 20, 35, and 55mm. I've used the small ones and can say that they are effective for articulated flys. Plus you only need one hook per fly. Unless you want two.
