That's great Ray, I also did well this year 8 pt 16 half in. spread Oct. 8th, last year Nov 2, a 10 pt 19 and half inch spread with split brow tines, but I shot mine with a Xbow, being 65 and elbow dislocation and surgery, 2 yrs ago and needing a shoulder replacement, I had to give up the bow or not go, but it gets me out, but not the same as getting them with a bow, I left Ambridge Sportsmens club and went to Zelie-Harmony Sportsmens club for the fishing. You take care, maybe run into up Erie. John

I thought most of you guys were in geriatric care by now. Beerman, Ironhed, Slippery you guys are from three decades ago! Wait so am I! I rarely go on the site much. After all these years It's pretty easy to figure it out, and when I don't that's ok too. The site was always interesting. Good, bad, ridicules, nasty, hysterical, but it always sucked you back. Hey I do still think of a favorite of mine once in a while "Cripp" Terry ? what was his last name. I ran into him a few times over the years always lovin life and ready to fish. I think alot of guys miss him. Any way good to see many of you still steelheadin. I for one make far fewer day trips, but go up when it's just right and stay a few days. 4am gets earlier every season. Fish often and stay well!

Hi Pt, I meant Pa. Outdoor News Dec. 19 Issue. Great to hear from you too, I am doing okay, except for getting old lol, I make it up Erie a coulple of times a year, Al meets me in Allentown, and fishes with my son and I opening day weekends, 2 weeks earlier than ours. Hope you and your family had a good Hunting year. Take care

Holy cow. Guys like Ironhed,Genie,Smitty,Beerman,is that Egghead 1-2 or 3?. I thought you guys were under gereatric care by now. Ha! Were talking 1990's here. Those were the days. Egghead weren't you banned several times? I rarely go on any of the boards these days. Still fish a lot but like to time my trips looking for chrome. As I'm sure many of you have I've expanded the search area from Pulaski to Manistee. getting too **** old for those single day suicide runs, 4am gets earlier every season. I do occasionally think about one of our lost mates. Terry "Cripp" but i can't think of his last name {first stages of senility} I would run into him occasionally over the years always with a great attitude and ready to fish for "one more hour". He was the best the Fisherie board ever had. Good to hear all of your are still around. Merry Christmas. "Fish On"

Great job! I feel more confident with my bow than a crossbow. Have a barnett I bought for my father but dont like the way it handles in a tree. He.s 87 and just got him out of trees 3 years ago. .. Heading up sunday to fish with the Critter. We laugh all the time on some of the stuff that use to go on here.. Never know might bump into you this year..

Has been some years since I have posted on here. The steelhead fishing this season started out well with large runs from Conneaut to the Catt but then seem to peter out by mid fall. The rains just haven't been there this fall to keep it up and when the rains came the creeks would recede within a day. Well without ranting I am hoping the spring fairs better than this fall. Did hear that they are only stalking the Manistee strain of steelhead instead of the London strain does any have a word on that? Brian

Creel, I still talk to Albud on the phone from time to time. Yes has told me of your forays out east. Hunting was so -so this season. Hunter and I got out quite a bit. We had a great time chasing chinese chickens, fall turkeys were a bust, although we almost closed the deal the day after thanksgiving. Deer hunting was WET, very few deer seen, no shot opportunities.
