Bob and I took a ride, everything blown out, NY to west side Erie, [Erie 1 1/2 inches last night] Still raining, rain tomorrow, rain Sat. Rain stopping Sunday. Maybe somewhere to fish Monday. If you are travelling, get here Monday

Thanks for the report Glen! I'm betting Walnut and the smaller Erie streams will fish well on Sunday though if the forecast holds up. Accuweather has 0.08 inches forecast and Weather.com only has a 30% chance for Saturday as of this post, but who knows how accurate that is.

Glen. Thats a great way to get a spot in the morning. Once I get all the pictures from the other 3 I'll bring them up to you and the rest of the NY Crew, for a slide show. We all agreed no posting of grip n grins. The photos of my largest is in limbo, I may never get it. Pretty upset about it but not much I can do. Long story. He went 35" a super solid 15 lbs. Got it on a green but skunk tied on a #7 AJ hook. Fly was about an inch long. Got him behind my buddy, in the last 5 minutes of fishing for the day, below the take out as a guide and his clients stood and watched. Blew up my reel but it was worth it. It was the biggest of the trip till my buddy pulled a 38" double stripe the second last day! Walnut is the greatest river in the world!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant wait to get back there.

I feckin live here, wont be out till least Monday, not cause of the mumpers...well ok a lil. but these streams are fecked right now. I usually feesh Mon.- thurs. Never the weekend, but this week is not because of crowds...its because the streams suk. Just check Uncle Johns cams and the gauges and you mupers will have your answers. Its high, muddy, and fast. enjoy.

Friday morning, precip. seems to be slowing down, forecast better for Sat.
Maybe be a place to fish Sunday, For sure Monday
