Works well for kings too. Steelhead won't touch it though. Think I'll try Camel Snus for them next time. It's a smaller offering.

Oh, you mean the hooked jaw? Yeah, that coho's mouth was really badazz. Believe it or not, I was fishing in a hole about 4ft deep with no weight. My bait was only about 6 inches deep. I watched that pig shoot off of the bottom to grab my bait. He even came out of the water a little bit when he hit it! It was amazing! I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I saw all of that pink and had no idea what kind of fish it was. LOL! I was using #4 Eagle Claw Laser Sharp Wide Gap Offset hooks. They really were amazing hooks. I had to remove this hook from the roof of this fish's mouth and it was in deep, almost swallowed. When I went to remove the hook, I found a HUGE treble hook in the roof of his mouth too. I should have taken a picture of that, but I kinda had my hands full! I didn't know what kind of fish this was until 2hrs later when another fisherman saw it and said, "Holy Crap! That is the biggest Coho I've ever seen!"

Should dry the head like the pike guys used to do. Dont know if it works on a salmon though....WF
