Night of the ladies!!!

Perfect night to hunt. Sunny then cooled off real fast. At 5 had 4 hen turkeys walk by at 20 yards. At 615 was just like t.v. Heard some leaves rustling above me. Out strolls 3 large doe right out in open field ALL less than 20 yards! Very lucky ladies, freezer is full from the doe I killed on the first day. Only thing wrong is that there are zero buck signs down here in central Pa. Great night to be out! Doe all heading to the white oaks!

Glad I was not the only one out! I had people yell at me for NOT shooting another doe, and many telling me not to ever kill a doe!  I think does taste better than bucks anyway.

My experiences have been pretty similar so far as I have been seeing some does here and there.  The buck sign has been popping up pretty good over the last week for me, but I am still waiting to see my first buck of the season.

I planned to hunt this morning on my day off, but instead had to go see the Dr. and found out I have Strep Throat   I know I shouldn't be doing anything, but I am probably going to try to hunt this evening.

You big sissy!  You should be good to go after the first dose or two of AB's.  Get out there...
I'm out this evening.  Gonna be haunted housing it with the kids.

I will be out tomorrow AM though in a nice funnel area but tomorrow evening is out for my nephews' B-day party.  Should be cool though.  They have Wild World of Animals coming from 84, PA to put on a live animal show.

yeah,  have people telling me all the time not to shoot doe's, in fact the property that I hunt and have hunted on for the last 23 yrs....the guy only hunts bucks but that's just him, I only get one doe tag ,I don't try for several and once I have a buck if I'm lucky enough I try for the doe but if I don't get her that's OK too....just like being out
