Rain is Coming

Just looked a the Radar Map on www.accuweather.com and animated it.

Looks like some of the rain we have been waiting for is finally coming.  there is a big long streak that extends all the way to southern indiana, that when you animate it almost looks like it will all run right over erie.  boy I hope so.  with a good rain and this cooler weather getting the water temp down it should start to pick up fast.

I've been fishing, Where have you been? You keep Grinding them out, I ground out a few myself on Thursday (no let me change that, I enjoyed catching a few fish last Thursday, if it ever became a grind for me I would hang it up) Even with all that "rain" from last week the creeks are still low and slow. We need alot more water to get em up the creeks amd spread them out so I dont have to fish beside dUUds that dont want to be around.

makes sense to me.  Rain is not necessary to bring in some steel, but certainly will spread em out a bit.  Im lookin forward to takin a walk.

dont know of a reliable rain gauge, but accuweather says up to 2" fell since yesterday.  boy I wish it would last about 3 or 4 days like that.  it goes down so quickly, I was thinking of giveing it another go on Monday but with it being Columbus day the creeks might be a bit to crowded.
