Looking for some advice

I'd hunt it if there was a decent tree nearby and prevailing winds were favorable.  And while doing so use the cam to confirm if only being used at night.  Not sure I would point it at the rubs, rather angled toward the trail.  Either way you at least know bucks move through there so if nothing during daylight now, it could be a decent spot for Nov.

It's my understanding that there is no direct corilation between the size of a rub and the size of the antlers that produced it. Yer scrub 8 point could be the deer that made the rubs. I've seen the smallest of racks rubbin on the big trees and the Largest of racks rubbin on the saplings.

To be honest with you, that great that you found a lot of deer sign like that. From personal experience i would not put such harsh pressure on this spot so early in the year, i would try to locate the main type of food source around be it like oak trees, bc most likely you will only have a few encounters with a big boy this early so late in the day you may want to try to catch him going to these places out of his bed. Just as reiterated by the  other ppl a rub is just to show that deer is using this area, i would be more concerned by scrapes for sure, and if you don't get any early season luck than find a good spot there for late pre rut/rut 

You got doe? Bucky is in the area. That's been my problem. Got a nice herd of doe and cant find brutus anywhere. No scrub bucks either. Soon as they go into heat, he will show up.

I went back throught that area today and found a very big rub and a brand new scrape about 30 yards from my tree stand. Also put my deer cam up. Ed
