Update
Well i have been able to hunt every evening so far and this morning I got to hunt because i am off today
On Saturday morning I seen 11 in Marienville;had button bucks grunting and chasing does for the first hour. crossbow hunter walked in at 8:30 and scared all of the deer away.
Went back to the same spot in evening and seen 5; one legal 9 but wasn't what I was looking for.
Monday Evening. Set up at 4:30 and had a few does running around for a little while. 7:00 hits and a guy with a crossbow walks into the middle of the field and lays down. Starts to grunt. waits 20 minutes and leaves. Un BELIEVABLE
Tuesday Evening. Hunted in Adamsburg. 6:30 random kid goes running past me. 7:00 2 kids on a dirtbike come flying up and smoke some J's. 10 minutes later a whole truck comes up full of kids. Needless to say I never motherF'ed anyone so bad in my life. PSP came so we'll see where that goes.Still did manage to see 5 does in the 10 minutes before dark when it was quiet out.
Wednesday Evening. Went to Clariton. Didn't see a deer; lots and lots of turkey
Thursday Morning. Same spot as last night. Didn't see a deer. Pulled the stand and headed back to Adamsburg for the evening hunt in about a hour.
Seems like this warmer weather really slowed the deer movement down atleast where I have been hunting. Saturday should be a great day too bad ill be at work!! Goodluck everyone!
