Center Pin Outing/Raffle

I know there is a center pin forum but there doesn't seem to be much interest there, so I'm posting here. I am just looking to see if anyone here has any interest in the center pin outing this year. We will be having the outing at lake erie community park this year as we no longer have anyone at uncle John's to provide us with a camp. So we will meet at elk creek in the morning around 7am most likely at the cascade hole parking lot. From there we will go back to camp around 3 and eat and have the raffle.
 
The raffle this year is way bigger and we have more prizes the only requirement is to be present for the drawing.
Prizes are as follows:
Paine Falls Demarco Reel
William Joseph Stash pack, lunch boxes, and bandanas
CTS center pin blank 
Mile Creek Custom Rods donated components and handle for the rod and he will also build the rod for us 
Mad river Bead box
CTS is also going to include some hats to raffle.
 
Thank you to all of the companies that donated products and services for this.
All of the money goes to the EPSFA to help with our brown trout program.
So if you guys are interested you can sign up here or in the center pin forum or just pm me if you need more details. Please guys don't bash this thread.

Dark siders would never donate money to the fishery, fly fisherman would donate whole streams of public land before pinners would do anything good for the fishery.

This outing is NOT exclusive to just centerpinners...We have had fly guys, spin fishermen and non fishermen attend the event.  It is mainly about the commradery, food, drinks and friendships that I look forward to this event each year; the fishing is just an added bonus.....And if you come, you're absolutely welcomed to get all sloshed up!!

In succession.....The Erie "Cheeky" Chowder!! Mmmmmmmmmm

crisped bacon, onions celery garlic rendered in the mmmmm good bacon grease!


Walleye cheek meats and some perch fillets boiled for a few minutes to cook and make the stock for the chowder...


Add more veggies to my chowder....corn, baby portabellos, carrots, spices and the stock and simmer for an hour...


Finally, add the heavy cream fish and we have what I feel is the best chowder you will have ever tasted!! I guess you just have to BE THERE! See Y'all Saturday!!!

Chowder looks good but I am not sure I can stomach all the pinners though.
