Took a long walk...

Took a long walk upstream today, but didn't see much stream. A lot of shale, but not much stream. I caught a chub and I did manage to see one small steelhead that pounced on a green weenie--but it bolted without getting the hook in.   I deliberately tied that one with no weight and no bead head so it would suspend and not sink so fast.
 
I have seen better current flow in a farm pond.

    I think you Missed them! 
    Heard that the Legion was the Place to be in the Morning!
    Maybe you forgot Your Polarized Sunglasses?

    Nope, I don't leave home without them.
     
    Legion hole?  Is that on 23 mile creek? I heard that they were hammering them at 23 mile. Can anyone verify?

    Heading up tomorrow no matter what conditions will be.
    Gotta get some info to local shops!
    Plus a 12 pt is calling my name back home so next few weekends are being spent on him!

    Thinking the Noodle is coming with me to hit the mouths!
    NO Flow, No Flies for me!
    Easier with the noodle to jig and spin!
