bird dog
I have had the pleasure to meet and/or fish with some of the board members here, mostly some of the "old timers" like Ironhed, Don Matthews, CR500, Spoon, etc. I enjoyed their company very much and look forward to meeting more of you guys/ladies. as Genie would say "LTA"

Is CR500 still around?  Lurking?  New name?

Influencing the board? Why doesn't anyone post face pics anymore....

Curiosity killed the cat, but for awhile I was a suspect.

ole eggy would sure get pizzed at us too.

Eggsac or Egghead?
Egghead wasn't a pretentious cueball like Eggsnag
Egghead was just a regular genuine duud

poor ole Eggy (sac)  did get pummeled pretty hard
his fall from fisherie "superstar" status was fast and furious when it happened
and he was only duud that had gammer and speling worser than me ....
(thank God i found  Firerfox...it gotz spellchekz)

all in all, he wasn't a bad duud.

unless you were unfortunate enough to be next to him on the creek
the duud never shuts up ..and a guy that big shouldn't have such a high sqEEky voice

but i agree.
.in hindsight, he wasn't all "that" bad .
I don't care if someone chums
and to be honest, I'm not all that anal about cueballs that line/lift  fish in Erie either .. I don't consider it 'good sport" ...and  you sure shouldn't  act like you're a troutgawd and show off trophies because you're able  to drift a hook into the side of fishes face or under it's jaw

But Eggy was just trying to get along, i reckon ...just like all of us

Some times when I have nothing else to do I check the names at the bottom of the fisherie site where it shows who is logged in to the site and currently using it.  In the past couple of weeks I've seen Racinray's name there.  Did run into him about 2 years at Cabelas in Wheeling.  He used to provide me with a lot of help when I first started fishing for steelhead in 2000.  Cr500 was also a great guy.  Haven't seen him since a steelhead banquet about 4 years ago.  Really used to enjoy Flymans photos and fished with him at the first fisherie freezeout.

Dfishinfool was also a great guy who I met a couple of times.  Still occasionally check his web site.

Pappy I believe told me he was going south after his retirement.  One of his claims to fame was that he taught Sharon Stone (the actress) in school.  Another great guy.

Any one remember creekcritter from Ohio?   He used to post quite a bit then stopped.    Like Rich says guys just move on when the stuff gets to be to much. I really used to enjoy reading what a lot of the older posters had to say.

Dfishinfool used to tell me stories about eggsac.  The man was a fish catching machine.  Ran into him one time when he was guiding on crooked creek.  He was driving what I call a West Virginia car.  The car body had parts from different cars and there were at least 3 different colors involved. Not sure if the parts were needed to repair wrecks or rust.

Cr500 used to have a web site for his custom rods, but I don't know if he still does.  I believe name was Scott Olex.  He also had a web page or a link where a lot of Fisherie members back in the early 2000's had their pictures with fish.  I still have one of his custom floats.  If anyone has ever found one with the name MSO rods on it with a frog logo they were made by him.

Genieman also used to have a ballot for Fisherie person of the year but I think that fell by the wayside.

Beerman also used to post a lot and he always provided good info when he did post.  The only time I've sen him post recently was when he had a rod he was selling and I think he usually posts about the Cleveland Browns about the time football starts.

I have a MSO rod.  Haven't traded emails with him for some time though.

The poster formally known as Duncsdad

Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.

what did him in was his laying the law down-rant and everyone seemed to pounce on it.  all in all, he wasn't a bad duud.

If you ask nicely I may be able to find said rant ; )

I'm curious now. PLEASE find it.
