Well, uh. Yep. That's right. Of course all of that rain on a 37 mile water way might take a little time to work its way to the creek. There was plenty of water where I was today. The lake was really ticked off and the waves were coming straight down the mouth. It was a little hard staying on target with wind and waves against the flow of the creek.

Ummmmm. I'm sure that most of you would understand if I am not on for a couple of days? I might be a little busy. I will check in, but, uh, I might be a little busy.

Well 7.7 is better than 6.1

Everything is headed in the right direction.  Temps are cooling down significantly and daylight hours are getting shorter, these two factors will have a greater impact on "the run" than water flow and height.  When the time is right and good numbers of fish are stacked up at the mouths, a storm will come through and move fish up stream.  Until then, high water won't help much.

Fished over the weekend a little and managed to land three with one being a citation at 11lbs. 14oz. The PFBC lady said that it was the largest brought in this season. (even though it is only the start of the season). I was extremely stoked as this was my first angler awarded fish!

There was a large pod of fish spotted on the Mon River heading up the Ohio river. How long until they make it to Rt.5?What kind of bait should I use? They say that chicken livers are productive this early in the season.I find that hard to believe.Im going to try purple hot dog sacks.Seems legit.
