Lake Arthur - Sunday 9-9-12

We started off at the 528 launch (6AM) and fished until noon with a few bass using small spinner-baits.
 
I haven't been to this lake in about 15+ years and it was nice to see the park had such nice facilities at the launch area. Many thanks to the local bass club (Butler Basscasters?) that had a sign there showing they had adopted the launch and I assumed help maintain it. I can say it was quite disappointing to see the amount of trash left by shore fishermen at almost every spot open with everything from worm containers to beer cans. I read on these forums that the park does spring cleanups but was wondering if there were any plans for fall cleanups. I would like to volunteer myself along with my son in helping keep it clean as we loved the lake and want to make more trips and start finding some good fishing areas.
