Early goose

For those of you fishing Westm'd County Parks,be aware that the Goose season is about to start & some of the parks are only open to goose hunters on certain mornings. I imagine that there will be more info in Sunday's Trib. or you can go to the parks web site. I always get a chuckle out of listening to guys calling to each other at Greenlick.  sam

Was out at Greenlick last two mornings before daylight and didn't see or hear any geese. What a bummer. In my estimation the water level of the lake is down approx five and a half feet. Never saw so much shore line exposed.

I have been going out in the evenings & most of the time the geese come in right at dark. That exposed shoreline will make it a little tougher for most hunters. The last time out, I watched a Osprey take 2 fish.  sam
