Greenlick ???

I was there earlier his week ,didn't see any more dead fish,but was pulling in some dead weeds which was surprising. Still catching a few bass & panfish. The dock is completly out of the water. Last time the water was this low the PFC said that they can't stop releasing water because they are not allowed to stop the flow into the creek.  sam

I personaly think that the reports of fish dying are overexagerated at Greenlick. I havent seen anything drastic,just what you would expect in this hot weather. With a lake with 30fow I am sure that the fish can find cooler water. As far as the stream goes,if it gets too low I am sure that a lot of fish would die there.My understanding is that when a dam is built, that by law it can not shut off the normal flow of the stream.I think that that sort of dam is built so that it can not exceed the required depth by letting anything too high out.That is a flood control dam.   ps they do the same thing with Yough Dam by letting water out to maintain the flow of the river.  sam

i would think, no longer seeing dead feesh would mean they've all died or been taken home by the 10 million people that have been there this year.
