Been out a few times myself and it's been terrible. So many things going on I don't know what to blame, probably myself.

I've probably got out a half dozen times this year, with limited success. Beat the skunk every time, but still waiting for the big bite... Might get the boat out next wed night.

I got more skunks than fish. Trying everything, live, cut,from a boat, from the shore. I'm having trouble getting dinks.

You'll get em. Well both get em. I've got fish on live and dead gills and live and dead chubs and suckers. Just a matter of time now. Flathead spawn should be over.

Sure could use some soaking rain and a break from the heat. Bait is even getting hard to catch! Supposed to be cooling down a little this weekend.

Gonna hit the Allegheny on Friday for channels and/or flats. Finally got a a little time to use a day to get bait and a night to fish. If I do any good, I'll post it here.

Still haven't got the big one this year... Changing spots next time, can't decide if I wanna go to freeport or emsworth. Fished freeport once a couple years ago, never fished the Ohio at all.

Not familiar with the Ohio and only fished around Kittananing once for Walleyes. Great Walleye fishing I can say. Only catfish the Mon and it's been miserable. Good luck!

i hit the shenango yesterday and im pretty sure i missed the biggest channel cat ive ever seen it took a live creek chub about 5 inches long, this fish was probly pushin 40 inches maybe 25+ pounds , it was sitting out probly 20 minutes when the bottle fell and i yanked, i had the fish on for probly 35 minutes b4 we even caught a glimpse of the fish by shore, it took another long run after 15 more minutes the fish was tired and my arms we aching, we were about to net the fish but then net men fell short snagging the hook unhooking the fish and it swimming away

Sorry guys, nothing good to report as to the catfish. Just one small channel. Nothing on the gills and a some nice walleyes, sauger, and smallmouth on the chubs, but the cats were quiet.

was at the shenango on monday night caught a few nothin huge biggest about 25 and missed a decent walleye all on chub,s 1 on liver, i swear by live chubs even dead 1s they work, and besides it ups your chances of catching other fish to walleye, pike, muskie, the shenango has been kind this year i just hope it gets better with fall approaching
