Odd looking Smallie

In well over 20 years of fishing and more than a few thousand smallmouth C&R I have never come across one that looked like this.
 

 
Let me begin by saying yes I did catch both fish on the same lure. One was on each treble hook. The lure is a 1/2oz rattle trap in Creek Perch.
Whats up with the humpback? Almost like a sheepshead body.
Has anyone ever seen this before?

    It makes me think of the hump on the head of a bull bluegill.

    I've seen this on other forums, only on large mouth. Here's one. And another
     
    Likely just a natural deformity / birth defect from what most speculate.

    I live in Cambria County and have a small lake near my house and I have caught a number of largemouth that resemble that. Another strange thing about the largemouth resembling that is the jaw line.  On these fish the lower jaw protrudes far beyond the upper jawline and makes them look very strange.  Anything liek that on your fish???  I'll try to post a pic later of the largemouth. I got a few pics of them because I was so awestruck by them.

    My wife doesn't understand that the more I fish, the better chance I have of going pro.... Am I the only one??

    I have seen a few largemouth like that but never a smallmouth. Interesting how that happens

    Used to get some crazy lookin fish like that below the NB dam in the early 80's
