Anyone else planning for Steel in the fall?

I know it is only July.... but I can't wait!
Been breaking in and getting a new tear drop camper set up for some serious Steelhead fishing.  Love camping and fishing right on a great stream!  I hope to do lots of trips!  I am more worried about low water than the weather.  Thinking of starting Sept & Oct at Uncle Johns then Foleys Nov & Dec.  Mid-week, Tues and Wed night trips should keep the crowds in check!

I can't wait either!  Love fishin the Ohio and PA tribs for steel.  I was out in Rocky River yesterday and scouted out a few new spots with the low water.  A couple more months...

Furthest thing from my mind....I got other fish to smash right now.

I don't always snag fish, but when I do...
    I choose Little Cleos

Well, I guess I have to agree with Slickfish, there's still a lot of fish I have to pester in the summer.  I can't wait for steelhead(more specifically Ohio steelhead, I hate crowds, I can wait a little longer for the PA fish), but then again I can't wait until I go smallie fishin tomorrow! And the next day!

    I'm ready.

I know most guys on here are slammin' walleyes, perch & smallmouth now though.

Did some feeshin on the coast of Mississippi a few weeks ago and had a blast with speckled trout and a few small reds.  Other than steelhead, that's about the only kinda fishin' I truly get excited about anymore.

I'll take my son out for some farm pond bassin', maybe another couple trips to Moraine for some catfish, and hopefully a run up to the spillway at Pymy for some carp before the summer is over.  I get excited seeing him get excited about catching big fish.

As for me, there's really nothing I'm excited about fishing for in July and August.  Bring on September.
