Need some help with erie bays.

Wife wants to go Erie for a mini vaca. I decided its a great time to go fishing as well. My only problem is my boat is not suitable for the big lake.

I assume the bays are much calmer during resonible weather. What should I expect to catch? I'm sure bass are always there what about pan fish, game fish? Any suggestions comments. HELP!

If the listed fish don't appeal to you, you could spend $30.00 and head out on the Danny O or the Edward John Perch boats.

If your boat is fine for the bay then it will be fine on the lake. Go out through the channel and stay between Lampe Marina and the Hammermill stacks, plenty of fish and a variety. That area tends to be calmer than the bay on a busy day, and with a strong South, Southwest, or West wind which can make the bay a mess.
