how are the smallmouth hitting on the small streams this time of year?  gonna go out this week so i'm just curious

    We talking smaller streams or rivers? small/medium streams the bite is on and has been for a long time.   I was on the lower yough today and those smallies were sluggish.  Still caught them, but you really had to coax them.
