Big Walleye

Who says you have to go to Erie to get big walleyes???
Went out last week for some trolling locally on the three rivers, and my brother was lucky enough to hook into this pig of a walleye!!  I could only manage (1) 12" smallmouth.
We had all intentions of releasing this fish, but it was bleeding badly from a hook getting under the gill plate.  We tried for 1/2 hr to revive the fish, but it just kept going belly up in the livewell.
He decided to keep it and put it up on the wall.  It's not everyday that you hook into a walleye of this size!
 We didn't get an official weight on the fish, but it was 32 1/4 inches long.  I'm guesing right around 11lbs or so .  Would of probably went heavier if it was pre & not post spawn.

    Nice fish! I've never caught anything bigger than about 24-26". I fish a lot around Pine Creek on the Allegheny.

    Where did you catch it?  What did you catch it on?  How deep?
     
    Do you think it is worth it for me to drive 15 minutes to go fish the 3-rivers?
