free fishing derby

This Sunday at Twin lakes the westm'd Cnty Sportsman League along with the westm.d County Parks will hold a free derby at both lakes from 8am-1pm. There will be cash & prizes,& trophys for the winners. The bass are hitting very well. Come on down & show us what you got! Seperate div. for Carp & there are some huge ones in both lakes. Look at the picts.in the boat house.  sam

    Hello Sam  are they stocking anything before derby ? how do you enter derby ?

    They are not stocking due to water temps.Was in the 80's last week,but there are plenty of trout left I am sure .Also prizes in other categories as well. Register at the boat house or the upper lake pavilion.You can enter up til 12:30 I think.No fish caught before 8am will be eligible.  sam

    Ed,Adult & Jr. div. for most & only 1 div.for Carp.I think I am not positive,but there are throphys & merchandise for all div. Plus $25 for catch of the day in each ,youth & adult,plus door prizes for anyone picked & a 50-50 drawing.   sam

    I plan on taking my son he's 14. I think he sill in the jr. division? Either way it'll be fun, we haven't been out in a few weeks and the weather looks good.
