Be a Yankee for a Day

Here's a laugh.  This Saturday I get to go to Yankee Stadium to participate in Steiner's "Be a Yankee for a Day" program after submitting the winning bid at an alumni fundraiser.  I finally make it to the big stage for batting practice, photo's, lunch and tour of Yankee stadium.  I'm taking my brother in law as my guest.  He gets to witness me making a fool of myself once again.  Forty years past my baseball prime but what the heck.

    Sounds like an awesome way to spend the day for a baseball fan!

    If I'm not mistaken Steiner video tapes the whole gig.  I wonder if Billy Crystal is going to be there again.  To see him do his Mickey Mantle impersonation is alone worth the price.  Like fishing, I'm sure there will be a lot of "swings and misses."
