jones mill run stocking

yesterday we stocked jones mill run with the largest brook trout i've seen. at least 40 between 17 and 20 inches were in the beaverrun dam truck and another 30 or so on the main PFBC truck. we were able to put one large one in each bucket and distribute them throughout the creek. very large fish for such a small creek.

i dumped a bucket with two large brookies in it into a nice hole and came back later to catch probably every trout i stocked there EXCEPT those big ones. talking with a number of other fisherman, they also caught the small ones and none of the big ones.

this creek will be worth fishing for weeks to come.

you're right down where the stream crosses the park raod. but go for a walk - up pumphouse trail to the small dam. we put in 6 buckets there and there were only 6 people there. we walked two buckets downstream from the small dam and there was noboby there.

Ugggh.. I was there last week... hahaha. missed that one but nailed em at Kooser Run.
Where do the clubs buy them from LHTF ?
