I like putting in at the foot of East ave.

There's a bait shop at the boat launch, extremely convenient.

Plus, you're already outside the channel.

Not sure if the East ave shop is open yet. Talked with the owners the other day and they stated that it would cost too much to open it right now, but will open it when the weather and fishing get better.

The worst day fishing is better than any day of work

Shop out by Partners (East End I think) and Po Richards have the liveliest I've found. There is a place I would avoid at all costs for minnows but I won't bash them here.

So I'm heading to Erie Friday morning and leaving probably Monday afternoon and was curious would it be a bad idea to bring fatheads up with me since it seems no bait shops in Erie have them or just stick with Shiners?

Hmm I normally stop at the one right at Presque Isle park but i'm gonna have to go to Poor Richards then or just grab them before I come up since they aren't too hard to keep alive...
