North Pier

Well, got out the zebco 202s and a bucket of minnows and went to the north pier. One of the bait shops showed up and netted a bunch of minnows. Got tired of the channel, rock bass, and gobies so I tossed a rapala on the Thompson Bay side and was rewarded with a nice largemouth. Not a bad night. Fished with my son home from college, Mrs. Beagler took a walk. Fished until dark.

I was there with my wife and son (in the stroller) fishing off the lower section by the lighthouse. We were only there for 30-45 minutes. Saw a bunch of large crappie, but couldn't get them to bite.

Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.
