River Anchor

Can anybody get me some pictures of the anchor all the drift boats use up there.Just finished total rehab on my boat and that anchor might be good in the Delaware. My buddy works in a metal shop and can do all the welding.Currents not as strong and figure we could downsize it a bit.Plus after all the work my boat not going through any rapids. Thanks.

I use a 50lb garage door weight. Basically a square hunk of steell and when I drop her the boat stops. I have seen round tubes of steel with spikes welded on and have also seen the damage they can do to your boat. I have also had a 25lb lead triangle anchor but  have used the big weight for about 10 years. On the deleware I just use a 15lb round bell row boat anchor stops fine.
