    Hmmm...Ok sounds good...

What do you mean- don't expect much?

Is it even worth my time? Does anywhere else rent?

    Thanks!

Cross creek Bait shop does rent boats, on right side of road going to park entrance. Mike is a good guy, just runs older boats and motors. You can call him at 724-356-2285. I have never rented from him because I have my own boat but do buy bait all the time. I can not answer as to issues with rentals. Tightlines. Ron

LoganWade told me they have boats for rent. I think he is from up there somewhere. I haven't fished there since I was a kid.

A few years ago, My dad, brother,Son and I rented a pontoon from them. price was very reasonable and we had a good time. only problem was when we were trolling, motor died out and we couldn't get it started again until later in day. on the plus side, they extended our rental a few more hours because of being stranded on the lake.... all and all, a good experience.

I've been going out to Cross Creek for a number of years. My son and I have rented boats for a number of years. Like Timachro said they have very reasonable prices. All in all I've had mostly good experiences with their boats. Except for the time I flooded the motor. Totally my fault. I've been out there twice this year so far. He's got a new crop of brand new motors on the smaller boats.

The bait shop itself has a good selection of bait and tackle. Snacks, drinks and the like. I'd definitely recommend to someone. Hope this helped.

mike is a good guy who knows the lake. i have fished down there for years and have rented quite a few boats off him cause mine is too big for CC. He always takes care of the people who rent.

REMEMBER HOW MUCH FUN YOUR FIRST BIG ONE WAS. TAKE A KID FISHING
