Dime,I'm no walleye expert by any means but that's the first I ever heard of the eyes hitting anything on the surface.I know they get close to shore at night but has anyone here caught them on top?
By the way,have n't heard a turkey recently.

Jack i should correct myself, floating rapala with a slow hand rowing troll is what i wad told...just below the surface

I saw a bunch of lurkeys in the tug region last weekend with my son. If i see any this weekend i'll snap a few pics and post em up so i can contribute to this thread rather than hijacking itlol

Neither have I. Too many guys in the woods working them over gives them lockjaw. Weather is supposed to be better over the weekend so we will see if things pick up. If not it may be time to break out the AR and plink woodchucks.
