L13 it's all good info and the years in between seem like days.. Ah the Good times indeed but just in perspective, these aint too bad.. Yea the economy eats us up but gotta admit the possibilities are almost endless..
Where else does a res. $29.00 fishing license get you record breaking Pacific salmon, Steelhead, Brook trout, Brown, Rainbows, Sea Run Bass alng with other species and Millions of acres of free open Spaces to roam ?
Sure, maybe in the South West but I live and fish here and I like it too. I think New York has done a Very good Job of things in that regard..

I'll leave the political stuff up to the fat cats as long as they keep opening up to the Sportsman & Women..

You said it HT. I live about 15 minutes from a world class salmon and trout fishery in the river and lake Ontario and some of the best walleye water around in Oneida lake. Great hunting right in my back yard. It's what keeps me here along with my family.
I know for sure it is not the high taxes, crappy school district, lack of municipal services and the enormous amounts of snow we get here.

Have hunted and fished many times in every New England State cept Mass and in Penciltucky and Ny as well - even in the Caribbean an Florida a bit.
IMHO NY has it head over heels on all those other states when taking the entire outdoor sporting opportunities picture into account.
Kinda figured to fire things up a bit on this Post as things were gettin kinda slow round here- but  the tongue in cheek was based on real toughts and stuff not just conjecture.
It DID NOT intend to diminish what the State of NY has accomplished on the SR and its Tribs in any way - its a great place- thats why I bought up there stead of anyplace else.  Actions speak the loudest----
Hey Lucky - gonna get a copy of that and plastic coat it and carry it in my vest just so there is never a mistake when seein signage. Thanks.
