That's the second time they pulled a body out of that lake. They probably drank the water. That'd be enough to kill anyone.

ORIGINAL: solitario lupo Thats pretty crazy. What if u were fishing hookedinto it and pulled it in. I would be scared for life. ummmm......what kind of line do you use? I dont think my 4lb line could handle it... and what exactly is there to be scared about? I doubt it would come to life zombie style and try to eat your brains....in all honesty, id do 1 of 2 things if this mother of all improbable circumstances found me.....id either cut my line and fish the other side of the lake like nothing ever happened...or id take pride in finally catching something worth talking about in the cannonsburg sess pool....but thats just me.

Leo, The area below the dam is not blocked off, however there is construction on 1/4th of the **** wall and out flow area. The other 3/4th's is open. Simply crossed the creek and fished the right and side of the outflow. However I even seen people fish the left hand side where the construction was going on after hours. What Lake are you Fishing?? I'd like to know where Canonsburg is 30' deep? When piutting around in my boat, the water is only about 18' deep on my depth finder.

It might be 20 at one small spot by the **** but i doubt it. I thought about it after I saw the report and he probably meant to say 13' which is about spot on for the area the body was found

I've gotten dozens of 10 inchers from there is the past. Is there any way to get to the lake on foot from the outflow?

No size to the gills or smallies, other then crossing the creek and climbing up the left hand side not sure. I didn't pay to much attention in seeing if their was access up to the lake through the construction zone or around it. You could always park where the launch is and walk back towards the dam. I plan on hitting up the lake on sunday for a bit so i'll check it out.

I do pretty well casting small rapala from shore, especially the joined ones. Get a mixed bag of trout, bass, crappie, and the occassional channel cat.
