Like said.. for sure a time in April for "spawning" steel.. Things are heating up here as well.. Lost my first hudson river striper today..
With things 2>3 weeks ahead.. My time on the tribs is coming to a quick close..
Wont have much to add unless it's Trout,Stripers or Claming..

     Wish I could fish like that guy on the 'other' forum who went up last week and caught a fish ' on every drift' with a homemade fly. ( yes- EVERY DRIFT )
  You guys aint diddly squat till ya can do THAT. --
       Actually it might get boring to do that-- I like to fish which means a certain amount of failure gotta happen to make the strikes more facinating.
    Must be kinda like gettin a Hole in One each time up to the tee box- gettin a golf score of 18 every time out. Or perhaps gettin a limit of Ducks with each shot- what a drag.
   Imagine how he does on ' ladies night'.
