Takin' It Easy

Did a little rehab today and checked out some new, local water today. Lost a nice brownie first thing this morning...made the mistake of trying to horse him to the bank.

Then I had my first hook up of the day...thought I was into something cool, only to have this pig chub come to hand...

Just took it easy and stayed where the walking was close and flat. Found some fish laying in and around some dense cover...after a half dozen flies tangled in the brush and trees, I had a little success...

Good to get out...baby steps, you know?

"For the supreme test of a fisherman is not how many fish he has caught...but what he has caught when he has caught no fish." - John H. Bradley
