north park bait shop

the bait shop is open and has minnows, worms etc. limited hours the next week or so. call 412-367-7959 to confirm if theyre open

    That is great news.

    Anyone fishing the lake yet? I know it is open for early season.

    gonna take my 4 and 3 yr old kids to np lake saturday. Does marshall lake have any fish in it? Just looking for some crappie, gillls, sunfish to keep them interested.

    have not been down there yet this year. it does have small panfish. not much for size. chinese fish it out. i've seen them keep 3 inch gills! maybe try the community lake in pine township up the road. you can google it to get directions. have fun and good luck

    i would try North Park Lake with small hooks and small bait. late last year i took my niece and nephew down and we got hundreds of small sunfish and small bass right at the shore by Kolich grove. they were likely all the fingerling fish that the fish commission stocked. water is still really cold though and i havent seen many small fish by the shore yet
