The Yough is high and fast right now, I hit up Cedar Creek and played around at the mouth of the creek that would normally be too low to hold fish. No dice.

Haven't been out since Sunday but hit up the Allegheny and caught about 15 sub legal Walleye, 1 legal Sauger, 6 smallmouth and 2 fat perch...  Aside from that the weekend was a bust...

Did good last night on the sharpsburg pool and finally got into some fish. Managed 5 decent sized walleye at the mouth of pine creek and up by the dam. All fish caught were on a green jig and plastic. Fish were surfacing everywhere including a massive walleye (round 12-13 lbs) that scared the crap out of my buddy (u/n freshwaterdrummer). Casted my jig out and got a birds nest so i cut the line and started pulling it in by hand, my famous last words were watch me hook into an eye while handlining this in...sure enough i ended up landing a s13 inch walleye bringing the jig back in by hand....made for a good laugh. Also saw a biiiiiiig flathead breach the water, take a big gulp of air and dive back down...reeaaalllllly got me even more pumped to hook back into some monster cats...gonna try to attach a pic of the biggest walleye caught yesturday...

btw im fully aware of how ridiculous thos glasses look...It was bright out and the only pair of glasses i had were my buddys gf's lol

Nice eye!

I hit the mon last night near the city. only fished from about 5-730 but managed a nice 14" eye and the usual few white bass. The eye was caught on a shiner and the white bass were caught on a 1/4oz joe fly

Been out a few times

Fished WV, down near elkins, for stockies, it is beautiful country, but it is pretty lame fishing. They all stay right where they dump them, but it got the stink blown off.

Fished Spring Creek a few weeks ago, it was a blast, had some BWOs coming off, made the trip fun

Went up to Laurel Hill Creek with the GF's boy a couple of weeks ago, but it sucked, mid day, didn't fish much.

I am hoping to head out to the Cheat river this friday evening, maybe get into some eyes or some white bass or smallies, or whatever wants to bite. Was hoping to hit up some WV musky action saturday, but it looks like it is not going to happen now, guy has to leave pretty early for a business trip, and is pussing out on me.

Managed to get out yesterday and today. Fished a spot on the Mon, about 2 min from Cal, for about an hour or 2. Didn't catch anything but got a couple bites. It was a lot better than sitting in a dorm room. Today I went to Dunlap lake for a little bit til the wind finally got to me. Didn't get a single bite but it was my first time to the lake. It looked pretty nice...even with the white caps lol.

Don't know what part of the Cheat you are fishing, but when I lived up there the smallmouth would tear up a 4" Renegade black plastic worm.

Sometimes that water would be so clear, I would throw one of those worms without any weight on it in one of those deep holes and just watch the smallmouth come from below and bust it.

Had many evening fishing trips near Rowlesburg and would just pull 1 in after the other, good luck either way

Fished the Highland park dam and mouth of pine creek on the allegheny river last night. Managed one small walleye between two of us. A lot of fish were surfacing but I couldn't get a good look at what they were. Hopefully things heat up soon.
