I can not wait for the outflow rate to slow down...  I'm tired of the 600-1200+ cfs numbers i've been seeing in this really nice weather...  With those kind of numbers I don't see how the lake could be at a high level when we haven't had above average snow and not a ton of rain...

Anticipation of heavy rains during this spring maybe???

Men and fish are alike. They both get into trouble when they open their mouths.

    Bassdawg,

Was out there on Sunday in the yak, one bite, nothing landed. Water temp water 41-42, majority of fish were showing in about 12-18 FOW to the bottom. The lake was really high as compared to 3 weeks ago when it was really low and you could see the sandbar, or whatever you want to call it, right near the launch.

Tons of people out there, no boat launch as of Sunday.

Not sure why it was so high, still figuring out the lake. Just moved to the area last fall so I don't have to much experience there.

    bigcountry,

Nice talkin' to you sunday, sweet set up you had there. Me and my buddy Cory were the other two dudes in Yaks. Our next stop to a smaller lake filled our baskets with perch and gills, so we were satisfied. Loyalhanna should fish good after this week of warm temperatures.

I'll probably see ya out at some point again.

    trouthater,
Took another ride out there Tuesday and the docks are NOT in yet. There were 8 or 9 trailers in the lot.

Went out thursday night with a couple of friends and must have tried have the lures in my tackle box and nothing was biting. Saw a lot of jumpers but no hits. Water looked pretty muddy too.
